The day started with a 6am weather report from CBC Ottawa .. the poet was the best! (Actually it's the only one I heard .. then we switched to Enya)
In contrast, in Bridgewater we started with a bit of fog and humidity. By 10am we were off on the Lawyer Rd loop stopping for lunch in Grottoes. We had a nice meandering route towards Massanutten in the morning but then after lunch we seemed to hit the hills. It's a wonderful thing having short memory with hilly terrain!
Jenny and Nick will remember parts of this loop coming across the steel bridge and the big hill at Mount Sydney and returning on Wise Hollow Rd which is fully paved now!
The sky seemed to get bigger as the day went by and the sun strengthened!
Tomorrow another sunny day and the boys will want a long ride .. ?
