Yesterday (Thursday) we joined up with Ric and Joan for a ride around Big Rideau.

Another humid day!

A clockwise direction from the Long Lake Rd junction (east) took us through Rideau Ferry and then on quiet shaded roads. Old Kingston Rd was great!

We ran in to more friends cycling (Dick and Heather) in Portland going the opposite direction. Then it was horse country on Cove Rd before crossing at Narrow Locks swing bridge and the final right on to Lally Rd - another quiet road with fun curves and bumps all the way back to our cars.

Great swim and dinner at the cottage. Thanks Ric and Joan!

That's it! We pack up and drive back to Ottawa this morning after a fun mini-vacation in Perth!
