Today was a beautiful day on the route from Louhans to Perouse! Lots of twists and turns on small country lanes which was a lot of fun! We could not have done this route without a GPS and good planning software!
Our route took us slightly to the west of Bourg-en-Bresse and eventually through an area full of irrigation or wetland ponds. It was hard to figure out their purpose but they seemed man-made!
We arrived in Perouges about 2:30pm via St Eloi to the north .. not much of a hill into town which surprised us!
Perouges is very small and our hotel room is very big and luxurious! I'm sure we will have a luxurious bill once dinner is over .. but without a stay here, we would have missed this Plus Beaux Village!
